Join our Governing Body
Could you make a difference to the children at Brunswick House? A few hours of your time can make a lifetime of difference to the school, especially the children.
Being a governor is a very rewarding role. You will be helping to guide the learning and future of the children who attend our school. You will also be helping to ensure every child has a safe and happy space to learn and grow.
Why Be a School Governor?
Governors are able to:
- Work with board members to plan the school’s strategic direction.
- Oversee the school’s financial performance, ensuring money is well-spent.
- Work alongside leaders to make a difference to children’s outcomes.
Governors usually attend around six meetings per year in person (refreshments included). Although becoming a governor requires enthusiasm and commitment, you’ll enjoy many professional and personal rewards, including training and of course, the chance to shape young people’s futures.
