In 2017, the whole school adopted a new handwriting scheme, Twinkl Handwriting.

This is a comprehensive ‘Handwriting’ programme, covering all the statutory requirements for handwriting from the 2014 National Curriculum for English. The aim of this scheme is to take primary-aged pupils on a journey from pre-writing at EYFS/ KS1 to a fluent, legible and joined handwriting style by the end of KS2. It provides an active, fun approach that aims to develop a fast, fluent and legible handwriting style within every pupil at Brunswick House.
